David Hanna specializes in the fields of public utility, real estate and general civil litigation law. Mr.
Hanna’s practice focuses on representation of regulated public utility clients before the West Virginia
Public Service Commission in the areas of natural gas, electric, water, sewer, telecommunications and
motor carriers.

Mr. Hanna has also handled all aspects of civil litigation cases, including trial and appeals, in the areas of
commercial contract disputes, real estate disputes, asbestos, toxic torts, product liability, eminent
domain, deliberate intent, personal injury, public utility, and oil and gas. Mr. Hanna has represented
clients before the West Virginia Public Service Commission, West Virginia Circuit Courts, the United
States District Courts for the Southern and Northern Districts of West Virginia and in appeals before the
Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia. Mr. Hanna has also represented clients in various West
Virginia State administrative proceedings.

In his real estate practice, Mr. Hanna represents individuals, corporations and lenders in negotiating
commercial and residential transactions and prepares and reviews documentation, including
agreements and closing documents.
